Step 1. Gather all your supplies.

Step 2.

Blend ink color onto box, one color at a time. Blend until the color you want is achieved.

Step 3. Heat set ink if needed.

Step 4. Assemble, fill and add ribbon.

You now have some amazing thank you guest gift boxes for your friends and family. This is super simple and lots of fun!

Mixed Media Any Occasion Card – Little Birdie Crafts Style

I have been playing with mixed media so much as of late and thought how fun it would be to try it out on a card. So I created this Mixed Media Any Occasion Card – Little Birdie Style!

I LOVE how pretty it is even though I added a little grunge to it!

SO PRETTY!

With just the right embellishments from Little Birdie Crafts, this card is a stand out!

Here’s What You’ll Need:

Step 1. Lay stencil in place and add modeling paste over the top of stencil using a palette knife. Let dry.

Step 2.  Mix Titan Buff and Cobolt Teal together. Dry brush over the top of stenciled area.

Step 3.  Using ColorBox Blend – Nutmeg, add some ink around edges and on top of painted stencil area.

Step 4. Using the ColorBox Blend, ink the chipboard pieces.

Step 5. Adhere chipboard onto card.

Step 6. Adhere flowers and sequins onto card.

Halloween Treat Cups

Hey crafty friends! Don’t you love these awesome Halloween Chipboard ghouls? I have been sharing different ways to use them and have loved each and every variation! I don’t even know that I could tell you may favorite! Check out my other fun creations: Spooky Art and these darling Treat Cups with Cats and Bats!

I love Halloween, decorating, dress up, candy, candy, and …. oh did I mention candy? Just kidding; my favorite is decorating! Whether it be a tasty food display, or decor to add a little creepiness to my home, I am all for it!

I had these awesome containers and thought they were the perfect fit with the chipboard.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

Tools:

  • Paint Brush
  • Colored Pencils – Optional
  • Scissors
  • Archival Ink Marker

  1. Gather all your supplies.
  2. Paint the treat boxes with Little Birdie Crafts Chalk Paint in Charcoal. Let dry.
  3. Paint Pumpkins and Skeletons while treat boxes are drying.
  4. Optional step – sketch out legs and arms for a vintage pumpkin. Color with colored pencils and piece together.

5. Add green paint to rim and make it look like oozing green drips. Let dry.

6. Once all is dry just add Halloween chipboard and fill with treats for your little goblins!
