Tea Party Décor

Hello everyone! Debra Quartermain here and I am very pleased to guest post with Little Birdie Crafts. Their products are so pretty! With six grandlittle girls we have a lot of tea parties, so I am here to show you a pretty tea party set I created.

I was excited to receive a box of pretty goodies from Little Birdie. You can see where my inspiration came from for the tea party theme!

What You’ll Need:

STEP ONE

Cut four pieces of lace, two 18” in length and two 15” in length. Fold ends of two shorter pieces at an angle. Cut on diagonal. Center long lace pieces on opposite 12” sides of felt piece. Glue along edge. Place diagonal cut pieces on opposite two shorter sides of felt. Glue in place. Trim off any excess extending in corners.

STEP TWO

Adhere Teapot sticker to center of small frame. Tie ribbon into bow. Glue two lengths of leaves to center of bow. Cut roses and rosebuds from stems and glue over leaves in bow center.

STEP THREE
Add teacup sticker to back of mini chalkboard stand. Add mini banner along bottom. Cut roses off stems and glue around base of stand. So sweet, the teacup even has a matching rosebud too!

Assemble the pieces together to make a vignette. Place bow on saucer and string other mini banner across tea cup. Little Birdie Crafts pieces are beautiful and lend themselves to creating something so easily!

Every day, create something pretty! See more from Debra Quartermain at www.debraquartermain.com

DIY Festive Drink Coasters

When I am setting the table for guests I like to add something fun and unique! I recently found a batch of pastel colored tiles at a local salvage store.  Tiles are the perfect size for a drink coaster, and by adding embellishment from Little Birdie Crafts, they become dazzling.

They are also very quick and easy to personalize and embellish.   Little Birdie has so many cute embellishment packs.  They come with color-coordinated trims and embellishments that were perfect for coordinating with the tiles I found.

What you’ll need:

Step One:

Paint the 3D kraft letter and then remove the sticker back and stick to the tile.

Step Two:

Apply adhesive around the edge of the tile, follow with a sprinkle of sequins.

Let the adhesive dry and your tile coaster is ready to use. You now have a thoughtful handcrafted drink coaster that your guest can also take home after dinner!  This is super simple and lots of fun!

Thanks for stopping by!

Check out Little Birdie for other fun embellishments, a great range of paint colors, stickers and ribbons.  Can’t wait to see what you make!
